Hello all,

I'am on a mandrake 8.1 machine with bind-9.2.0rc3

To make bind work in a vserver I was told to disable-caps option in the
makefile. After disabling this option and recompiling bind, when I try
to start my new named deamon I get this message :

"-u not supported on Linux kernels older than 2.3.99-pre3 or 2.2.18 when
using threads " , naturally I have a newer kernel 2.4.17.

So now if I start named without the "-u named" option, it is starting,
but the deamon runs has user root wich is not what I would like !

Any clue ?

TIA
