This is what it is doing right now. Something must be missing.
Do you have an example (an application) I can use to replicate the problem.

For example, if you do this

        /usr/sbin/chbind --ip 1.2.3.4 /bin/sh
        telnet some_host

you will find it is not working since it is trying to bind to 1.2.3.4 (which is
for most people, not a valid interface).
