I just tested the process limit in the conf file using the ULIMIT
option. I set it to -H -u 30.
it works fine, but there are always about 3 more processes running than
specified in the ulimit option.
is this some kind of a grace limit or for keeping up "vital" processes?

Server debian is running
33 processes running

I'm not in the vserver while checking the process limit using "vserver
<name> status", so there's no root process that could possibly be counted.
