This may or may not help in tracking down where this crash bug was
introduced:

I have seen similar behaviour (sorry, don't have the exact crash info, but
it occured with about the same regularity) with ctx 14 applied against
2.4.20. However ctx 13 against 2.4.19 has not failed once.
