Hi,

I have a box with Linux 2.4.20ctx-16 running and I want to use it with
NIS. But there occured the problem that NIS won't be running because the
portmapper dies immediately after start. If I start the portmapper
manually with the command "portmap -d" I get the error message:
portmap[26158]: cannot bind udp: Address already in use

What's the reason for that and how to fix it?
