All,

I know that I have mentioned this before but I never got an answer to my
question, what is the reason that named (either bind 8 or bind9) can not
bind to more than one IP on port 53 I have tried to specify the listen-on
and specify 2 IP's here and it still always goes back to one IP (the first
IP listed in the configuration file)

This is the error that I see in the logs.

Apr 25 01:13:43 host01 named[1269]: listening on [192.168.11.1].53
(eth0:eshani)
Apr 25 01:15:43 host01 named[1269]: There may be a name server already
running on [192.168.11.2].53
Apr 25 01:15:43 host01 named[1269]: deleting interface [192.168.11.2].53

It would be really helpful is some body could explain why this happens, is a
UDP thing?
