Well I should have asked for a whack with a clue-stick. Turned out I had
one or two things 'wrong'. One was I used a non-routable IP address
(192.168.) and the other was I only entered the vserver without starting
it. Mix and match those two and you'll understand why a clue-stick was
necessary. (In one case it was my reference vserver which I almost never
give a valid IP or startup.)
