Hello gang,
I would like to ask a question regarding VMware (I know this is completely
out of context for the mailing list..so sorry to all who may get upset :o).
I installed Fedora on VMware and it is *damn* slow.
The machine running vmware is a Pentium 4 @1.7ghz with 1gb Ram (running
win2k pro).
When I boot X-Windows (on fedora (which is the guest operating system)), it
pops up my processor to 100%.
Even shell acess is pretty slow!
This doesn’t happen if I install trustix for instance.
I don’t quite understand what the problem is. I installed a copy of win2k+3
on Vmware and it was also slow (till i
Configured “Use hardware acceleration” on the win2k+3 guest OS.
Can anybody help me with this?
PS: I sent this email to this mailing list because I bet someone out there
uses vmware and can help me :oP hehehe
Best,
