basically yes, the vroot will probably replaced by
a secure handling of block devices.
additionally the initpid faking is handled a little
differently, and there are no quota/dlimit patches
atm, which will change in the near future ...
any 'features' present in 1.2 or 1.3 but not supported
in 1.9 are considered a bug, and should be reported ;)
