largely depends on how you define 'migrate'

you can simply copy over the old guest and use the
legacy support (if you did compile it into the kernel)
to start/stop/enter the guests as before ...

this is also possible when you really 'migrate' the
guest by creating a new config for it (allowing for
the new features)
