In my original question I pointed out difference between
"du" and "df". But here is one more test done withing guest:
------------------
# cd /
# df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
rootfs 20971520 2580572 17325988 13% /
/dev/root 20971520 2580572 17325988 13% /
none 131072 20 131052 1% /tmp
/dev/md5 30969468 2716752 26679560 10% /usr/portage
/dev/md5 30969468 2716752 26679560 10% /usr/portage/distfiles

# du -s -k
13644360
# cd /usr/portage
# du -s -k
1609696 .
------------------

Root filesystem usage:
df: ~2.6 GB
du: ~12 GB (substracted /dev/md5 from total)

Quite a big difference. Again, I think "df" in guest does not
deliver proper results, but I do not know why...
