Hi there,

I was reading up on CVE-2016-7117 here:
https://blog.lizzie.io/notes-about-cve-2016-7117.html?utm_content=buffer1486a&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

The patch doesn't seem too complex, but I'm no kernel hacker. Can it be
applied almost as-is on older, 3.x kernels? I'll probably have to try
but if I could get a second (and third :P) opinion that'd be great.
And the icing on the cake would be if a patched -vserver kernel came out
of course ;)

Cheers
