The most recent kernel vulnerability was CVE-2016-5195
aka 'Dirty COW' (a privilege escalation vulnerability)
So it is advised to update to a kernel where this issue
is fixed, so one of the following kernel/patches:
patch-3.2.83-vs2.3.2.17.diff
patch-3.10.104-vs2.3.6.9.diff
patch-3.18.44-vs2.3.7.5.diff
patch-4.1.35-vs2.3.8.5.2.diff
