Yes of course it is.

If you're using the Debian, just:

  # apt-get install qmail

For doing it the hard way, there is more information at:

  http://cr.yp.to/qmail.html

Although I feel forced to point out that there are many other MTAs available
which don't require installing 50% of a new operating system just to get the
program to start; and which have licenses that allow you to *fix* the bugs.
