Herbert,

83.xxx.yy.zz is the IP of the vserver number4 (the new one) ..

ip of the host system is eth0:83.x.x.x.. and dummy0:10.49.0.1 ok .. all
other verserver running well.

vserver1 dummy0:10.49.0.2/255.255.255.0 running mysql
vserver2 eth0:83.aa.bb.cc/255.255.255.255 dummy0:10.49.0.3/255.255.255.0
running apache
vserver3 eth0:83.dd.ee.ff/255.255.255.255 dummy0:10.49.0.5/255.255.255.0
running a dev-sever
vserver4 eth0:83.xx.yy.zz/255.255.255.255 dummy0:10.49.0.4/255.255.255.0
future mail server

I ping from the host (eth0:83.x.x.x.. and dummy0:10.49.0.1)
