Hi,

I am trying to install 1.28 ( patch-2.4.26-vs1.28.diff ) on top of the
mandrake 10.0 kernel linux-2.4.25-9mdk.

All the patch seems to apply fine but when I run make bzImage I get the
following:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux-2.4.25-9mdk-vs1.28/include -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common
-pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -march=i586 -nostdinc -iwithprefix
include -DKBUILD_BASENAME=user -c user.c -o user.o
user.c:95: error: conflicting types for `alloc_uid'

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

alloc_uid is something that the vserver patch is taking care of ?

What should a I do ? Let me know if more info in needed...

The patch is saying 2.4.26 and I am doing this on a 2.4.25 kernel. Could
this be my problem.

I will try with a non mandrake kernel to see if it's going to work.

Thanks,
Jean-Pierre Denis
