yes, precisely!

and here is the issue, with 0.30 tools, you have to setup
the proc security stuff yourself, the 0.30.204 tools do
that for you (with vprocunhide, see wiki page)

any guest should work fine, once the host proc is set up
correctly ... you can also get it working (but in an insecure
way) by disabling the proc security in the kernel ...
