sounds reasonable, maybe just put it somewhere with a
link on the wiki (and maybe some pgp signatures)
guess folks are willing to update them more often ...

maybe somebody feels like providing a 'generic' yum
package with the fixes?

JFYI: it seems to fail to register on debian (for 0.30.208)
