This is working for Buster too. Many Debian packages still only ship
with old init script, which SystemD then runs through a compatibility
layer. The occasional server package that won't run with can have init
scripts written for it, or they can be purloined from previous Debian
releases. I'm still finding it much easier persuade Debian to run on
sysv init than to consider anything with SystemD.
